Pork with potatoes and mushrooms - simple and tasty dish. It is very easy to prepare. This dish can be prepared without mushrooms, but fresh mushrooms give it additional aroma and taste. The combination of potatoes, pork and mushrooms makes the dish very satisfying. This dish is perfect for a family dinner. It is good to serve it with some kind of vegetable salad.

Ingredients
- pork meat - 500 g
- potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
- mushrooms (champignons) - 300 g
- onion - 1 pc.

Recipe
- Cut the pork into small pieces.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or non-stick pan. Fry pork pieces on it. Then add water, cover with a lid and leave to simmer over low heat until the pork is almost done. If necessary, add water to the stewing pork.
- Wash fresh mushrooms and chop not very finely.
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater.
- Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces.
- When the pork is almost ready, add grated carrots and chopped onions. Simmer everything together a little.
- Then place pieces of potatoes and mushrooms into the pan with pork and vegetables. Add water until the water completely covers the vegetables, add salt. Simmer everything together over low heat, covered, until the potatoes are done.
- At the end of stewing, add chopped herbs and mix everything carefully. Cover ready dish lid, turn off the heat and let the dish brew.
Pork with potatoes and mushrooms is ready.
Today we will prepare a simple and hearty dinner for the whole family - fried potatoes with meat and mushrooms.
The meat component will be pork, and the mushroom component will be champignons. You can also use oyster mushrooms for this dish, but then they should first be boiled for 5-7 minutes in boiling salted water.
The peculiarity of preparing this simple dish is the sequence of adding ingredients to the pan. And this is important because all three components, pork, potatoes and mushrooms, require different cooking times.
So let's get started. We will prepare all the products according to the list. You can add your favorite spices and seasonings for the dish. At the very end of cooking I add a little butter, you don't have to add it.
Given that pork takes longer to cook than other ingredients in the dish, it should be cut very thin and in small pieces.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the pork over high heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring. The meat should be browned.
We clean the champignons, wash them, remove the films from the caps and cut the mushrooms into halves or quarters if the mushrooms are large. Cut the onion into half rings.
Add mushrooms and onions to the frying pan with the meat and simmer all the vegetables together for 5-7 minutes. The vegetables will release their juices to the meat, and it will begin to cook inside.
This is how the mushrooms will brown and the onions will become transparent.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into very thin cubes.
Add potatoes to the pan, salt and pepper the dish to taste.
Now fry the potatoes with meat and mushrooms until full readiness potatoes over medium heat. Don't forget to stir the potatoes. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices, seasonings, or just freshly chopped dill or parsley.
5 minutes before the end of cooking, I usually add 1 tbsp. butter, reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid. In five minutes, the potatoes will soften a little but retain their crispness.
Serve fried potatoes with meat and mushrooms in portions with pickles or fresh vegetables.

My mother makes the most delicious stewed potatoes in the world. She makes this dish with round, almost boiled pieces of potatoes, aromatic, thick and, well, very tasty! Of course, I always wanted to learn how to make such potatoes for my family, I watched how my mother cooked them, I looked for different recipes and in the end I learned how to make my own potatoes - delicious, according to many. But it didn’t work out like my mother did. Maybe it will come over the years, maybe not – we’ll wait and see.
So, in this dish I use champignons and rack of pork ribs– quite fatty to give the potatoes some filling and extra sweetness.
To prepare stewed potatoes with pork and mushrooms, you will need:
potatoes – 10 pcs.
pork – 500 g (4 ribs)
champignon mushrooms – 500 g
carrots – 1 pc.
onion – 1 pc.
garlic – 3 cloves
cumin – 1 tsp.
ground black pepper – 0.5 tsp.
Bay leaf- 1 PC.
allspice peas – 4 pcs.
salt
Sunflower oil – 3 tbsp.
olive oil – 3 tbsp.
butter – 2 tbsp.
How to cook stewed potatoes with pork and mushrooms:
1. Peel and wash potatoes, carrots and onions. Cut the potatoes into cubes - the smaller they are, the better (but within reason, of course). Pour water 1 cm above the surface of the potatoes and cook over moderate heat. When the water boils, the potatoes need to be salted.
2. Meanwhile, put a thick-bottomed frying pan on the fire, pour oil into it, heat it well, add garlic and cumin to the oil and leave until the garlic turns golden and the family comes to ask what already smells so delicious.
3. “And this is flavored butter,” you say, busily cutting the meat. After all, this is what we will be frying now. So, cut the meat into portions. It can be tenderloin, pulp from the shoulder, or peritoneum - whatever you have on hand. Of course, this changes the fat content and taste of the dish, but you can cook with anything, the main thing is that it is tasty!
4. Dry the meat with a paper towel so that it is properly golden; wet meat will never have the same crust as dried meat.
5. Remove the garlic from the pan (it has already done its job) and put the meat there. The pan should be large enough so that the pieces do not touch each other, but lie freely. Over high heat, fry our ribs on all sides until golden brown, do not cover with a lid, otherwise they will release juice, but we don’t need that. When the meat is ready, transfer it to a plate to rest and sprinkle with coarse salt.
6. Wash and cut the mushrooms into quarters. In the frying pan where the meat was fried, put the butter, wait until it melts a little, and fry the mushrooms over the same high heat without a lid. They need to be lightly salted and peppered at the beginning of frying. They will turn golden, but will not release all the juice. If you have a small frying pan and the layer of mushrooms turns out to be very large, fry them in 2 stages. Ready mushrooms, like meat, are sent to “rest”.
7. Cool the pan slightly, add a spoon sunflower oil and fry the onions and carrots. The onion should become slightly translucent. It would be enough.
8. Now you need to combine all the ingredients. We transfer everything to the potatoes, add peppercorns, bay leaves (at the end of cooking they will need to be removed), if necessary, add salt and put on low heat (to simmer) for 1.5-2 hours. During this time, the onion will boil, the potatoes and carrots will become very soft, and the meat will become so soft that even a baby can chew it (although, of course, it’s a little fatty for a baby).

We will need:
- 400 g pork
- 250 g champignons
- 5 pcs potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 sweet pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp. spoon of tomato paste

- 1 bouillon cube

To start cooking potatoes with pork and mushrooms in pots, take the following products:
- 500g pork
- 1 tbsp margarine
- 8-10 potatoes
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 egg
- 40g dried white mushrooms
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp low fat margarine
For the sauce:

- 1 tbsp. sour cream,
- 1 tbsp. flour,
- 1 tbsp. butter

Despite the use of fatty pork, the dish does not turn out to be heavy: the components, cut intentionally large, can be successively fried until a stable crust is reached in the rendered fat.
Champignons bought in the supermarket are available and safe, but even a single wild mushroom added to a cauldron will radically change the taste and perception of the amazing hearty dish, which, it would seem, nothing can do better. Bay leaf will perfectly complement the subtle mushroom aroma.
Ingredients
- pork 300 g
- onion 1 pc.
- carrots 1 pc.
- potatoes 5-6 pcs.
- champignons 5-6 pcs.
- vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. l.
- water 500-600 ml
- bay leaf optional
- black pepper
Preparation
1. Rinse the pork and dry it with a napkin. Cut into medium pieces. Fry in hot vegetable oil 8-10 minutes until browning. Stir occasionally.
2. For stewing, prepare a thick-bottomed saucepan, saucepan or cauldron. Place the fried meat in a cauldron. Pour hot water and put it on high heat. Boil and cook for 5-8 minutes over moderate heat.
3. Peel the potatoes and rinse. Cut into medium cubes. Add oil to the pan where the meat was fried, if necessary. Brown the potato pieces until golden crust. It will take 8-10 minutes to fry the potatoes over high heat.
4. Place the fried potato pieces into the cauldron with meat. Stir and bring to a boil. As soon as the mixture boils, reduce the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
5. At this time, peel and cut the onion into cubes and carrots into half rings. Fry in the same pan for 3-5 minutes over high heat.
6. Add carrots and onions to the cauldron. Rinse the mushrooms. Cut into 2-4 pieces, depending on size, and add to the cauldron. Season with salt ground pepper, add bay leaf. Stir. Cover with a lid and simmer for 15-25 minutes until all ingredients are cooked.
7. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped herbs.
