Today – pizza with fish. Just recently I was going through my old recipe posts and discovered a recipe that a friend of mine gave me a long time ago. It was secret recipe: at one time it was presented to her by a friend who worked in a Moscow restaurant. She said that he gave her this recipe in great confidence.
To tell the truth, I never cooked it and therefore kept the secret stoically. Then I was just collecting recipes. And then I decided to try to cook it, especially since I didn’t have any other ideas for lunch today.
I recently traveled to Italy, and they kept saying that all famous dishes Italian cuisine– pizza, spaghetti are originally food for the poor. The pizza was made from whatever dough was in the house. After inspecting my refrigerator, I realized that I didn’t have “what-I-have”... And looking into the freezer, I found mackerel there. Yes! Those who are categorically against this may not read further. I decided to do an improvisation. This is what happened.
Ingredients
For the test:
- 125 g cottage cheese (half a pack)
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 25 g yeast (fresh)
- A pinch of salt
- 1 dec. lie Sahara
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 250 g flour
For the filling:
- 1.5 red onions
- 2 green onions
- A few sprigs of parsley
- 50 g hard cheese
- A few spoons tomato sauce
- A pinch of Italian herbs
- Salt, pepper to taste
Preparation
- Start by preparing the dough. To do this, dilute the yeast in a few spoons. warm water, add salt and sugar, followed by all the ingredients. Knead the dough and let it rise.
- While the dough is getting ready, prepare the filling. To do this, steam the mackerel. It took me 10 minutes to cook in a double boiler - very quickly.
- While the fish is in the steamer, peel, wash and cut the onion into half rings. I used red to add color to the dish, but you can use any color. And finely chop the onion and parsley.
- Once the fish is ready, remove the bones and disassemble it into small pieces.
- Grease the baking tray olive oil and put the dough on it. My dough was quite soft and I just formed a circle with my hands. Spread tomato sauce on top of the dough.
- Then arrange the red onion half rings. There are pieces of fish on them. Salt, pepper and sprinkle with Italian herbs. And then - onion and parsley.
- Don't forget about the grated hard cheese on top. All.
- While we were preparing all this, the oven heated up to 200-220 degrees. Place the prepared pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Check and remove when the dough is ready.
I must say that the pizza exceeded all my expectations. The dough turned out fluffy and soft. And the fish filling also goes very well with onions and cheese. I will now retire my old pizza recipe and will now prepare the dough using this recipe.
Pizza with fish turns out excellent.
Well, if you don’t cook pizza yourself, then you need Ollis Pizza - 24-hour pizza delivery. There is a large selection of pizza with any topping for every taste.

Thanks for stopping by.
Pizza is always quick and tasty, and the recipe, which is presented step by step, is also quite cheap. The main advantage of this dish is its great popularity among children and adults, as well as the ability to change the taste thanks to different fillings. As a result, you can cook every day favorite dish with a new taste. Previously we also cooked.
So, it’s best to start cooking pizza, and basically like any other dish, with a complete set of ingredients. You can use any pizza topping you like, but rest assured, fish is a safe bet.
Required Products:
Premium wheat flour 500 grams (to simplify the preparation of the dough, you can take pizza flour, as in the recipe).
Sunflower oil 1 tablespoon.
Fresh fish (hake, pollock or, as in the recipe, blue whiting; fatty fish, such as lake trout, are good).
Cheese 200 grams (the recipe shows the cheapest preparation option, accordingly we used processed cheese OK).
Mayonnaise and ketchup or tomato sauce.
Spices, salt (all to taste).
Onions and carrots, 1 medium piece each.
Greens (parsley, dill, basil).
How to make homemade pizza in the oven:
You need to start with a test. Since it is yeasty, it needs time to sit and mature. If you are not using special pizza flour, which contains dry yeast and milk, then you need to knead your favorite yeast dough. In this recipe, the dough was kneaded and baked in a bread machine, but this is more convenient for everyone.
Once all the ingredients have been placed in the bread machine, or kneaded and the dough has risen, you can begin preparing the filling. To do this, you need to cut the onion into half rings, and then in half again, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Then fry it all in a frying pan with a small amount of sunflower oil. The result is a beautiful and very tasty roast.
Next we start preparing the fish. It must be washed, then peeled, cut and fried in the same frying pan where the frying was previously done. The fish should be almost ready and easily separated from the bones. When frying, the fish should be lightly salted and peppered.
After this, you need to let it cool a little and remove the meat. The cooled fish should be cut into not large, but not small pieces.
This is how the pieces turned out. While the frying was being done and the fish was being prepared, the dough should have risen. It took 80 minutes to knead and put the dough in the bread machine and this is the result.
Now you need to take out the dough and let it breathe a little.
While the dough is breathing, prepare a baking sheet. It needs to be lubricated sunflower oil and dust with a little flour. The dough is rolled out or stretched by hand, it is quite pliable and plastic, so I did not need a rolling pin.
We spread the dough according to the shape of the baking sheet and be sure to make punctures with a fork so that the bottom does not bubble during cooking.
Sauce or ketchup is spread on top of the base. In my case, I used homemade ketchup.
Mayonnaise is placed on top of the ketchup in small strips. I highly recommend using it exclusively!
After this you need to put the fish out.
Add a little more mayonnaise on top and you can put it in an oven preheated to 230 degrees for 20 minutes.
While the pizza is in the oven, grate the cheese and chop the herbs.
If the pizza has been in the oven for 15 minutes, you need to take it out, sprinkle it with cheese and send it to finish cooking.
Homemade pizza is ready! At the end of the cooking time, remove the dish from the oven and enjoy the result.
This is how beautiful it turned out. If you like your cheese to be melty and stretchy, you should add it 5-7 minutes after the pizza is placed in the oven.
If you liked the recipe, we would be grateful if you share it on social networks:
Everyone knows that the very first Italian pizza was made in Naples. But in each region of the country, the filling for this dish is made differently. For example, in Sicily, where large fishing ports are located, it is customary to prepare fish pizza. Today, the dish, which contains ripe tomatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan, anchovies, olive oil, and oregano, is called Sicilian pizza.
Classic Italian fish pizza with anchovies
To make Sicilian pizza, you need to prepare the following ingredients:
- dry yeast - 2 tsp;
- warm milk - 180 ml;
- pizza flour - 240 g;
- salt - 5 g;
- sugar - 25 g;
- 1 small egg;
- olive oil - 6 tbsp. spoons (3 spoons for the dough and 3 for the filling);
- anchovies (in oil) - 8 pcs.;
- 5 tomatoes;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of paste (tomato);
- onion - 70 g (1/2 onion);
- mozzarella - 100 g;
- parmesan - 50 g;
- spices.
Step-by-step cooking recipe:
- Make a batch of the ingredients for the dough. To do this, beat the eggs with milk with a fork, add yeast, salt and sugar. Now gradually add flour until the dough is elastic but not too tight. Leave it on the table for an hour to let it rise.
- Meanwhile, prepare the ingredients for the filling. To do this, peel the tomatoes, after scalding them with boiling water, cut the mozzarella into slices, grate Parmesan, cut the onion into half rings.
- When the dough has risen, you need to knead it, then carefully stretch it with your hands, gradually giving it the shape of a circle. By the way, in America they make pizza with anchovies square, so this baking dish will also come in handy.
- After the dough is rolled out (stretched), you can spread the filling thinly enough. First, distribute the anchovies evenly, then a layer of tomato paste. Onion is laid on top of the sauce, then halves of peeled tomatoes, mozzarella and Parmesan. The ideal flavor addition for this pizza would be a few leaves of basil and oregano.
- Authentic Sicilian pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven, where the temperature reaches 500 degrees in no more than two minutes. On home kitchen provided that the dough is rolled out thin, the pizza is cooked in the oven preheated to 250 degrees for 7 minutes.
Closed pizza with smoked fish
A pizza option in which the filling is placed in the middle between two crusts is called a calzone. Another name for this dish is Italian pie. This pizza is shaped like a crescent. That is, the cake is rolled out round, then the filling is laid out on one half, covered with the other half, and then the required shape is given by hand.
The dough for calzone is prepared using yeast, according to the same recipe as for Sicilian pizza. The resulting dough will make two pizzas. But the filling may be different. Traditionally it is ham, mushrooms and cheese, but calzone pizza with fish filling. Ideal for this recipe smoked salmon, but since not everyone can afford to prepare such an expensive dish, you can also use other types of fish, such as mackerel.
To fill two fish calzone pizzas you need to take: 300 g fillet smoked mackerel, 300 g of mushrooms, 50 ml of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese - 200 g, 3 medium tomatoes, 2 teaspoons of oregano, fresh basil, other spices to taste.
Pizza mushrooms are pre-fried, otherwise they will release in the filling. excess water, and the dough will become soggy. Then the sauce is laid out on one half of the dough rolled into a circle, the next layer is diced fish, mushrooms, tomato and mozzarella slices, and on top are basil leaves and dry oregano. Covered pizza is baked for 30 minutes at temperature conditions in the oven 180 degrees.
Delicious pizza with red fish
For pizza with fish according to this recipe, yeast dough mixed with milk or water is suitable. For the filling you need to take 200 g salmon or trout fillet, processed cheese (for example, Hochland, packaged in cubes), tomato sauce, spices to taste.
Making this pizza is very simple. The first layer of sauce is laid on the rolled out dough, then thin slices of fish and sliced cheese in the same way. You can sprinkle the top of the dish with dry herbs (basil, oregano) and drizzle with olive oil. Pizza with red fish is baked in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
Fish pizza with herring
It also comes from a banal herring delicious filling for pizza. You can use yeast dough for it. But it will be faster to cook unleavened dough without yeast. For it you will need (for 2 pizzas): 240 ml of kefir, 1 egg, 300 g of flour, 30 g of margarine, 25 g of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. All ingredients are mixed, then ready-made dough you need to let it rest on the table for at least half an hour.
When the dough is ready, the filling is laid out on it in layers. First, herring fillets, then pre-fried onions, chopped olives and grated cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 220 degrees. Before putting in the oven, sprinkle the pizza with olive oil. Pizza with salted fish It has unusual taste, which has already been appreciated by many gourmets.

Unhealthy pizza is nonsense. Of course, if its preparation requires mayonnaise, sweet and salty store-bought ketchup with starch, smoked meat, lard or too fatty sausage, then dietary ready dish It will be difficult to name. On the other side, classic recipes Italian pizzas are made from flour, olive oil, ham, sea fish, greenery, fresh tomatoes, white cheese and the famous tomato sauce. This means that a traditional flatbread with cheese is rich in vitamins K, A, E, and also contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, which help fight “bad” cholesterol and are extremely beneficial for people with disorders of the cardiovascular system.
However, there are not so many “fish” pizza recipes. Here are the most delicious and simple ones.
Italian pizza with salmon
For the test we will need:
- 3 tbsp. olive oil;
- 5 g dry yeast;
- one egg;
- a glass of wholemeal flour;
- 2 pinches of salt;
- a glass of warm water;
- a glass of regular wheat flour;
- two tea spoons of sugar.
Mix two types of flour, previously sifted through a sieve. Add salt, sugar and dry yeast. Stir thoroughly (it’s easier to do this with a fork). We slightly heat the water from the tap (not boiled!) so that it is lukewarm. Separately, beat the egg in a bowl, mix it with oil and warm water. We interfere. Pour the egg-butter mixture into the flour with sugar, salt and yeast. Quickly knead the dough. We “work” with the dough for about 10 minutes until it stops sticking to your hands. Make a ball out of it, cover and put in a warm place for about an hour.
To prepare the sauce and filling we will need:
- two sprigs of basil;
- 150 g salmon;
- 3 tbsp. olive oil;
- 100 g parmesan;
- one medium onion;

We clean the pepper from seeds. Scald the tomato, remove the skin and stem. Peel and rinse the garlic. Place all products in a blender and grind until pureed. Then pour it into a heated frying pan with olive oil. Pepper and salt. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
Chop the onion into thin strips and marinate in a tablespoon of vinegar for about 30 minutes. After this time, rinse it with water. Three cheese on a fine grater. We peel the salmon and remove all the bones. Cut into thin slices. Cut the cherry tomatoes into two halves and remove the seeds with a teaspoon. Finely chop fresh basil (leaves only, without stems).
Mix the dough that has increased in volume a little and roll it into a circle, the thickness of which should be no more than 5-7 mm. Place the base on a baking sheet that has been lightly greased with olive oil. We prick the dough with a fork in several places and grease it with the prepared sauce, especially carefully processing the edges.
Place onion and salmon slices on top of the sauce. Sprinkle pizza with oregano and basil. Distribute chopped cherry tomatoes over the base and generously sprinkle with cheese. Place the dish in the oven for 20 minutes (at a temperature of 200 degrees).
Decorate the finished pizza with basil leaves and serve immediately, since pizza with fish is most delicious when it’s hot.

When serving, wait for the filling to cool a little and cut the pizza with a very sharp knife (preferably a special one).

Pizza with red fish is usually the most expensive on the pizzeria menu. If you make pizza at home, it will cost you at least three times less. Despite the fact that you will put more fillings than they usually put in a cafe. And you will be completely sure of the ingredients: the pizza will definitely not contain cheap pink salmon, but real trout or salmon. So, homemade pizza tastes just as good as store-bought pizza. And to make the dough just as crispy and thin, just follow this recipe.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 250 grams of flour (1 cup with a large slide),
- 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast,
- 1 teaspoon sugar,
- 175 ml water,
- 1 tbsp. spoons of olive oil,
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Filling:
- trout steak,
- 125 g mozzarella (small bag),
- 10 cherry tomatoes,
- half an onion
Homemade pizza with red fish and mozzarella
Mix a spoonful of flour, dry yeast, sugar and half a glass of water. Leave in a warm place for 20 minutes. Pour the dough into a bowl, add flour and the remaining water, add salt, mix and knead with your hands for five minutes. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the yeast should not be granulated, but instant.
Place the ball of dough in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Twirl the dough in the bowl until all sides are coated with oil. Thanks to this, a dry crust will not form on the dough.
Now close the lid and set to rise in the oven - at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees. Under such conditions, the dough usually doubles in size in 45 minutes.
At this time, let's make the filling. Cut the onion into half rings and tomatoes into slices.
To cut fish, take a sharp knife. We cut the steak all the way through along the spinal bones, and then cut the fillet from the skin. Cut the fillet lengthwise into thin strips.
Cut the mozzarella cheese into circles and then in half.
When our dough has risen, sprinkle a baking sheet with flour, put the dough out and stretch it into a round cake with your hands. (Pizza dough is not rolled out with a rolling pin.)
Add the filling. You can do this in any order. For example, lay out a circular pattern. How to do this is easier to show than to explain, so just look at the photo :)
