Preparation:
Peel and wash the potatoes.

In the photo on the left are chips cooked in the oven, on the right in the microwave. They taste quite different.
The oven chips are quite oily, brittle, and have slightly sharp edges when biting into them.
Microwave chips are less oily, brighter yellow in color, confidently crispy and evenly fried throughout the thickness of the slice.
My clear conclusion is that chips cooked in the microwave are much tastier than those cooked in the oven, so I advise you to cook them in the microwave.
