When traveling to a new country, it is always worth finding out about the local cuisine in advance. Otherwise, on the spot, you can get confused in completely unfamiliar names and be disappointed in completely unexpected dishes. That’s why today I will share with you what you should definitely eat in Thailand and how to avoid getting poisoned by Thai food. Don't be afraid, I won't tell you about fried grasshoppers;)
I am sure that 90 out of 100 tourists, before traveling to the land of smiles, ask the question: what is delicious to eat in Thailand? To be honest, I'm a fan of more classic dishes, so I tried, even in an exotic Asian country, to choose something at least somewhat close to familiar food. Nevertheless, I will also be able to introduce you to exoticism in this post, because... During our winters in the Thai province of Krabi, I attended cooking courses, where I personally fried, steamed and stewed unfamiliar ingredients, combining them into a single aromatic composition.
When you see what is added to a particular dish, you somehow become more confident in it, and therefore eat it with a special appetite. Otherwise, I most likely would not even risk ordering many of the dishes listed below in a Thai restaurant, but I can recommend them not only as a “eater”, but also as a cook;)
What to eat in Thailand - 10 most popular Thai dishes
Tom Yum
Tom Yam - famous Hot soup with shrimps. It is cooked in chicken broth, and then shrimps are added to it, which is so popular in Southeast Asia. sweet and sour sauce(not for everyone, but you get used to it quickly). Honestly, there are few indifferent people who have tried this soup at least once. It is rightfully considered one of the most delicious soups in Thailand and the most popular dish among tourists from all over the world.
Pad Thai
Pad Thai looks like a completely ordinary noodle instant cooking. Cook it over high heat, stirring quickly and at the same time throwing in eggs, chicken (or shrimp), various vegetables, herbs, and a special ingredient - bean sprouts. They don't look much like roots, but they give an absolutely specific taste. Pad Thai is great to buy at makashnitsa - traditional “food carts”, where it is immediately cooked over the fire. And it costs very little there - 20 baht (vegetarian) and 40 baht (with meat/chicken/shrimp). This is definitely something you should definitely eat in Thailand.
Thai Fried Rice
One of the simplest and delicious dishes Thai cuisine. I honestly admit best variation I haven’t seen rice yet, unless some kind of pilaf can compete with Thai fried rice. But they are completely incomparable, if only because apart from rice they have nothing in common. Thai fried rice like Pad Thai, it is cooked over high heat, mixed with eggs, tomatoes, carrots, corn, Chinese cabbage and other products. As a result, this is so delicious :)
Since I love this rice very much, I learned to cook it at a Thai culinary school with great pleasure. I have already posted it on the site before. Even my two-year-old Mishutka happily chewed it on both cheeks :) So you can safely order this rice even for small children.
Tom Kha Kai
One of the most controversial dishes. Tom Kha Kai - chicken soup with coconut milk. It would seem an absolutely crazy combination. At least, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t put the flavors of “bounty” and homemade chicken broth into my head. Bbrrrrr)) And then there are the tomatoes floating, and the lime juice being squeezed out... In general, the soup is really so far from Russian cuisine that it is quite difficult to imagine its taste in advance, and personally it scared me away, so I didn’t even try to order it in Thai restaurants.Chicken with cashews
This is a dish without any special culinary delights, just half-stewed, half-boiled chicken breast with vegetables, also cooked only a little, i.e. They are semi-fresh and crispy, with cashew nuts sprinkled on top. Quite tasty and edible dish, filling but light. I love these :) I also wrote earlier. It contains simple products that are available in our stores, so you can try cooking this chicken at home.
Chicken curry
A very spicy dish with curry paste, which is prepared separately from red hot chili peppers, garlic and other spices. After which the chicken is stewed in this paste prepared here and becomes very spicy and spicy.
Papaya salad
Som Tom Thai - green papaya salad. This is one of my friends' favorite Thai dishes. The salad contains mainly vegetables - carrots, tomatoes, green beans, there are also nuts, and the base is green unripe papaya, which is grated into long “spaghetti”. Sometimes shrimp are also added, so if you are a vegetarian, check this nuance with the waiter in advance; you can safely order Som Tom Thai without shrimp. You can try to make it at home in my opinion.
Seafood salad
Yam Thale is easy Thai salad seafood, which includes shrimp, squid, crab meat and other seafood, as well as funchose (rice “glass” noodles) and various vegetables. Chili peppers are also added to it, so the salad is spicy, but if the cook does not overdo it, the spice will be subtle and only a little bold :) You can inform the restaurant in advance “no spicy”, although this spell still practically does not work in Asia :)
Spring rolls pancakes
Spring rolls are considered authentic Thai street food. They are cooked, like Pad Thai or fried rice, over a fire in a pot. If you really want to try them, I advise you to order not in restaurants, but in the numerous carts that roll out onto the city streets at sunset. Price for two pancakes is 20-30 baht.
Spring Rolls have a slightly crispy dough and are filled with vegetables, chicken, rice noodles and bean sprouts. Due to them, the taste of Thai pancakes resembles the same Pad Thai, but in my opinion they are only tastier for this :) And again, I described in detail how I prepared them at the Krabi culinary school and already posted them on my website.
Dessert with coconut milk and mango
One of the simplest and delicious desserts Thailand - Kao-Neuw-Ma-Muang, i.e. sweet sticky rice with mango. I had two discoveries after getting acquainted with this dish: firstly, that mangoes turn out to be delicious (before I didn’t have much love for them), secondly, that perhaps you can become a vegetarian if you learn more such recipes :) me too I’ve already posted it, but in short, rice is cooked in coconut milk with added sugar. It turns out something similar to our dairy rice porridge, only with a coconut flavor and sweeter. Then it is laid out on a plate, and the top is decorated with pieces of juicy mango and sprinkled with nuts (nuts are optional). The combination of ingredients is simply perfect, everything complements each other and the result is truly amazing. Highly recommend! This is a must eat in Thailand!

Variety in food
Let's consider what food is worth trying in Thailand.

They cost like regular chicken or meat. Always fresh, extracted and supplied to restaurants and cafes around the clock.
Since Thailand is washed by seas on all sides, the seafood menu pleases with maximum variety. They are very tasty and healthy, but low in calories. This oysters, clams, squid, crabs, shrimp, octopus, lobsters, lobsters . IN fish restaurants You can choose the fish you like right in the aquarium and the cook will get to work.

The history of Thai food is very ancient. It was influenced by countries such as India, China, Japan and Portugal. The inhabitants of this paradise maintain their traditions, which have developed over centuries. This is also reflected in gastronomic culture. Let's talk about the dishes that are consumed most often.
- Green Papaya Salad Papaya Salad . Prepared with the addition of lime, coconut sugar, ginger, shrimp, fish, and peanuts.
- Hot and sour ginger soup Tom Yam . Very spicy, served in a lighter version for tourists. Prepared with the addition of ginger, chili pepper, lemon grass, lemon zest, and shrimp paste. Can be boiled with chicken, mushrooms, rice noodles.
- Pad Thai Fried Rice Noodles

Another version of this dish adds eggs, chicken, shrimp or pork. Dressed with tamarind sauce. Even children can eat the dish, as it is not spicy. Spicy seasonings added as desired. - Khao Pad Fried Rice you can try it anywhere. It contains chicken, tomatoes, onions or shrimp, small fish, vegetables, raw eggs. And, of course, sauces and seasonings.

- In hotels in Thailand not a very popular service "All inclusive" . Mostly they offer breakfast in the form of a buffet. The rest is up to your taste and for extra money.
- Since the food is extremely spicy, if you do not like it, you need to warn about it at English language (NO SPICY- not hot). Although the concepts of Europeans and Thais "about the spicy" differ considerably. And the dish can still be heavily seasoned.
- For very spicy dishes, you need to order a cup of rice or plain water with ice.
- Thais don't eat bread , it is sold in supermarkets. It is bought mainly only by tourists.
- For those who stubbornly refuse to try local dishes, there are European options. Such as scrambled eggs and bacon, fried chop with mashed potatoes, mushroom dishes.
You can be sure that you will not go hungry! With high quality and variety, prices remain affordable.
In order to fall in love with Thai cuisine, you don’t have to be in Thailand for a very long time; just try a few dishes, and it will immediately become clear that the taste and smell of lemon grass, galangal, cardamom, coconut milk and chili pepper will remain deep in your memory. for a long time, and the taste buds on the tongue from time to time will persistently demand to please them at least once more :)
all spring, and got hooked on Thai food quite thoroughly. Even where we had a kitchen in our rented accommodation and could cook anything, we preferred to have lunch and dinner in cafes in order to enjoy the incredibly delicious soups, curries and salads to the maximum.
Of course, we have friends who cook famous dishes themselves thai dishes, and we are sure that they are no less tasty than the original ones. Perhaps someday we will take a few lessons and learn how to cook them ourselves, but for now we present 10 of our favorite Thai dishes.
Almost each of these dishes (except salads) can be either vegetarian or with chicken, pork, fish or seafood.
Top 10 Thai dishes
1. Tom Kha
Sweetish soup made with coconut milk. Of all the Thai cuisines, we liked it the most - not too hot, spicy and very tasty.
2. Tom Yum
This is perhaps the most famous dish in Thai cuisine, and even if you have not been to Thailand yet, you have probably at least heard of this hot and sour soup with lemon grass, galangal and lime leaves. Due to the abundance of spices, the soup has a very specific and memorable taste. True, soup in the Thai sense is significantly different from what is familiar to Russian people - in Tom Yam you can eat almost only the broth (well, and meat/fish if you have any), everything else is added to create flavor and is not edible.
Since Tom Yam is a very spicy soup, rice is offered as an addition to it, more often than to other dishes.
3. Green Curry.Red and yellow curry are also popular.
The basis of this dish is a special paste that consists of chili peppers, lemongrass, lime leaves, basil, shrimp paste and coconut milk.
Green, red and yellow curry are three dishes that are similar in structure and consistency, but differ in the composition of spices and spiciness. Green is the hottest, red and yellow are slightly less spicy. But it’s worth keeping in mind that “less” in this case is a very relative concept, which is why curry is most often eaten with rice (although Thais generally eat everything with rice).
3. Massaman Curry
One of our favorite curries is made with coconut milk, roasted peanuts (or cashews), cardamom, tamarind and fish sauce. Has a spicy and distinct taste and aroma
4. Phanaeng Curry
A bit like massaman, but it has less peanuts and additional shrimp paste.
6. Green Papaya/mango Salad, Som Tum
Green papaya (or green mango) salad with crushed peanuts, green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, dried shrimp, fish sauce and, of course, chili peppers. We were unable to distinguish green papaya from green mango in the salad by taste. Both salads are tasty, but very spicy - it’s almost impossible to eat them without tears :)
7. Pad Thai
Fried noodles with egg, soybean sprouts, fish (or oyster) sauce, peanuts and assorted toppings. Quite a simple, but tasty and very popular dish in Thailand - it can be found both in street eateries and in decent restaurants. Padtai varies in type and composition of noodles, so there can be a huge number of variations.
8. Fried Rice (Khau Phat)
Fried rice with egg and vegetables is one of the most favorite dishes among backpackers, as it is sold on every corner and is cheap. We are not big fans rice, so we only liked one variation of this dish called Khau Phat Sapparot - pineapple fried rice.
9. Sen Khao Soi
This dish is popular in northern Thailand, it is a soup with deep-fried egg noodles. The soup is also served with lime, onion, chili pepper and cabbage pickle.
10. Roti - pancakes with various fillings (egg, chicken, as well as chocolate, banana and other fruits)
Pancakes are not baked from batter, as in Russia, but from kneaded and mashed to a thin, almost transparent state. We are not sure that this is a native Thai dish, but it is prepared in many places and pancakes are very popular among both tourists and locals.
Of course, Thai cuisine is not limited to a set of 10 dishes; in order to list all the dishes, you would have to write a whole book. For example, in addition to the most popular Tom Yam and Tom Kha soups, there are many other soups - very tasty and for everyone
In the south of Thailand, especially in the maritime regions, fresh fish and seafood dishes are very popular
Salads often use not only papaya and mango, but also other vegetables and fruits, such as grapefruit, pomelo, corn and tofu
In addition, there are often situations when in a Thai cafe without an English menu, you have to order dishes whose composition is only approximately understood (but this does not make them any less tasty)
And, of course, you can’t ignore the evening markets, where you can try something unusual - for example, grilled shrimp, kebabs on skewers, as well as all kinds of caterpillars, grasshoppers and other insects, which are, however, mainly eaten by tourists =) We will write about evening markets separately, but for now you can read about.
Chili sauce recipe
Well, as a bonus, a little homemade Thai cuisine, namely, a recipe for chili sauce that we learned to cook in Kanchanaburi under the guidance of our Thai friend Adisak.
Adisak’s family has Chinese roots, so for the first dinner he treated us to Chinese-Thai dishes, and having learned about ours, he offered to cook the next dinner together, in Thai style.
We exchanged recipes and told Adisak about our culinary experiments in Bali, and he taught us how to make chili sauce, without which, in his opinion, Thai cuisine would not be Thai (the clever iPad persistently suggests replacing the word “Thai” with “heavenly” - what can we say about people, if even the technology understands Thai cuisine :)
So, the recipe is quite simple, for preparation we will need the following ingredients:
- Green chili pepper – 7 pcs.
- Cherry tomatoes – 7 pcs.
- Garlic – 7 cloves
- Lime – 1 pc.
- Shrimp paste 1/2 tsp.
- Fish sauce 1 tbsp.
- Cane sugar 1 tsp.
By the way, we thought that only in street cafes in Thailand (and in Asia in general) cooks do not wash vegetables, but it turned out that this is not accepted in their culture at all - even in such a decent house, no one even thought of washing vegetables before cooking. This is why in Asia it is better to avoid uncooked food.
To prepare the sauce you will need a mortar; it is most convenient to make such sauces. In Asia, as we noticed, any housewife will definitely have a mortar in her kitchen - even those who have both a food processor and a blender still use a mortar when it comes to sauces, apparently it’s also in their blood :)
Adisak assured that the order in which ingredients are added is very important:
- First, put the chili pepper in a mortar, after cutting off the ends, knead it.
- Next, add sugar and garlic, previously crushed with a knife (to release the juice) and cut into small pieces, knead.
- Then squeeze out the lime juice and add the quartered tomatoes and mash.
- The last step is to add shrimp paste and fish sauce, mix everything thoroughly.
The sauce is ready, it is advisable to cool it before serving :)
Attention: the sauce is very spicy!
Bon appetit!
For the last month we have been incredibly happy with Indian and Tibetan dishes, and recently we discovered Korean cuisine, although we miss Thai :) What world cuisines do you prefer?
Grated ginger, a couple of bergamot leaves, a sprig of lemongrass, fish sauce, chili pepper, thick oyster sauce, lime juice and a spoonful of sugar. The taste of Thai food is an amazing combination of sweet, salty, sour and spicy-spicy. Thai cuisine ranks high in ratings best food from all over the world. I myself every time look forward to a trip to Thailand so that I can again order a bowl of Tom Yam soup, papaya salad or my favorite dessert - sticky rice in coconut milk with mango. Today's post is about Thai cuisine, with detailed description dishes and lots of photos. It is better to have a good meal before watching.
We lived in Thailand for three winters and spent a total of 7 months in the Land of Smiles. I took cooking classes and learned to cook Thai food from a real Thai chef. I know first-hand about the ingredients and dishes, I understand well what the main dishes of Thai cuisine consist of. I would be very glad if this post helps you better navigate the gastronomic delights of Thailand.
Thai food ingredients
In order to understand what Thai cuisine is, let's talk about the main ingredients. The basis of the basics is sauces. If Europeans try to preserve original taste products and use a minimum of spices and sauces, then in Thai cuisine sauce is the basis of the basics. The dish must combine four tastes: sour, salty, sweet and spicy at the same time. And if spiciness is sometimes ignored when preparing some dishes, then Thai food simply must be sour, sweet and salty.
Thais eat a lot of seafood. Shells, snails, squid, fish, crabs, octopuses. Seafood is cooked for a minimum amount of time, boiled or fried with sauces for only a minute or two. Chicken and pork are also held in high esteem; beef dishes are less often served. Tofu cheese, which is also added to fried noodles, also adds variety to the dishes. It is not clear where they put it and where not - only in the noodles, or not only in the noodles? Or noodles for variety, but other dishes - not for variety..
There are a lot of vegetables in Thailand. Thais are happy to use cauliflower, onions, corn, zucchini, small eggplants, tomatoes and cucumbers. Moreover, cucumbers are often fried in a frying pan along with other vegetables.
Herbs are indispensable assistants in preparing Thai food. Lemongrass stalks, kaffir lime (bergamot) leaves, ginger or galangal root, several types of basil, cilantro, green onions... Thais almost never use salt. It is replaced by fish sauce, which is prepared from the juice of fermented small fish, which is stored in barrels for a long time. It is fish sauce that gives dishes a special flavor that you will never achieve by replacing this product with soy sauce. Thai fish sauce is not as smelly as Vietnamese fish sauce, so don't neglect it. Sweetness is added to dishes using regular white or brown sugar, as well as thick palm sugar. This is what is put in the famous papaya salad.
The sour taste is invariably created with lime juice. It can be either fresh, just squeezed from the fruit, or concentrated, made at the factory and packaged in bottles.
The base sauces are thick oyster sauce, black pepper sauce, tamarind sauce and sweet and sour chili.
The most famous Thai dishes
Tom Yum Kung soup
This dish is considered by many to be a true masterpiece of Thai cuisine. It brings together ingredients that at first seem completely incompatible with each other. Judge for yourself: shrimp and mushrooms, onions and tomatoes, broth with the addition of coconut milk, sugar, fish sauce and Thai roots and herbs. The Tom Yum soup is quite spicy, and if you don't want to become a fire-breathing dragon after dinner, ask for "no chili" soup. It is impossible to cook Tom Yum without being spicy at all, since the essential ingredient in the soup is chili paste. But still, without additional chili peppers, the soup will be more suitable for the European stomach.
Over many months of living in Thailand, I learned how to cook Tom Yum Kung almost perfectly and I share step by step in a separate post.
Tom Kha Kai soup
Tom Kha soup contains the same set of herbs and spices as Tom Yum Kung. But it has no chili paste and a lot more coconut milk. Therefore, it is absolutely not spicy and children really like it. Another difference is that tender chicken fillet replaces the shrimp in the soup. Tom Kha soup can be the most useful and delicious food, which can be fed to children in Thailand.
Soup Rad Na
I discovered it only six months ago. Spicy thick soup meat broth with soy and fish sauce, seasoned with wide rice noodles and pak choi cabbage leaves. An excellent dish for the whole family.
Thai soups with blood
Thais do not pour out the blood of animals, but prepare blood juice from it. Only the consistency is not as hard as ours. Ours looks like sausage, and in Thailand this jelly-like mass is called blood tofu. It is added to soups as a healthy protein component. Also in the north of Thailand, fresh chicken or goose blood can be poured into soups.
Green papaya salad Som Tam
I love green papaya salad and can eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Green unripe papaya itself is neutral in taste, but the dish turns out simply great due to the special sweet and sour sauce. It is made from garlic, chillies, sour tamarind sauce and thick jaggery.
Dried shrimp and crushed peanuts are added to Som Tam. But in the north of Thailand they can also offer you papaya salad with very salty tiny crabs. Personally I don't like them, I prefer traditional version- with shrimps.
Pancake roti
This dish is not Thai, but rather pan-Asian. It is found in both , and Malay. But in Thailand they came up with the idea of stuffing pancakes not only with fruit, but also with colored candies, condensed milk and chocolate. And unsweetened roti is smeared with spicy sauces and paste from canned tuna. Be sure to order some roti while strolling through the Thai market.
Rubies in coconut milk - (Tub tim grob)
This sweet soup made from coconut milk with ice cubes and red sweet water chestnut balls, as well as canned pieces jackfruit, mango pulp or colored thin noodles. The seller will ask you to choose the filling for this dessert yourself. I recommend adding a little bit of everything to your plate to try out more flavors. This dessert is sweet and very refreshing.
Also in Thailand, balls are made from coconut milk, miniature cakes and sugar rounds are baked from eggs, flour and coconut flakes.
Thai exotica: trying new things
Deep-fried insects are sold almost all over Thailand. Scorpions, toads, grasshoppers and silkworm larvae can be found in the north of Thailand - in Chiang Mai
At first glance, you might think that Thai food is not at all suitable for children. But take a closer look and you will find a bunch of options on what to feed your baby in Thailand. Boiled rice with chicken and vegetables is sold in any street cafe. You can also order soup in meat broth with chicken or meat, vegetables and boiled egg. Children really like Thai desserts, and you can have a snack with store-bought yogurt and fresh fruit.

Super UserTraditional Thai dishes are a must try
In order not to bore my dear readers with long prefaces, which I love, and I'm sure you don't, let's immediately move on to listing the most basic traditional Thai dishes.
Many of our (and not only our) compatriots are delighted with how interesting Thai dishes taste. Yes, and for good reason, because for us it’s completely exotic! I warn you right away that almost all of them are sharp, and not as sharp as we are used to, but truly spicy. Therefore, if you are not a fan of “fire in the mouth,” when ordering, repeat to the waiter “No spicy!!!”
Tom Yum Gung Soup
It is the number one leader in popularity among tourists and Thais, the calling card of Thailand. This one is spicy thai soup prepared with shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes, spices, lemon grass, kolgan and lime leaves. All this is cooked in coconut milk and there are two options for how it will be served to you - Tom Yum Gung Nam Kohn soup with coconut cream or Tom Yum Gung Nam Sai without coconut milk. The taste is impossible to describe, as it is truly unique. As for the choice, try both options. I always suffered greatly between choosing one and the other, since both of them are very tasty and are not similar to one another.
Som Tam
This salad is one of the most popular in Thailand. Som Tam is a spicy salad made with garlic and chili. Other salad ingredients: shrimp, fish sauce, peanuts, tamarind juice, tomatoes, lime juice, sugar cane, beans, a handful of green papaya. You understand how many flavors are combined here - sweet, spicy and sour! There are also two options for how you will be served Som Tam - with crabs Som Tam Boo, with fish sauce - Som Tam Plah lah.
Pad Thai
Thailand's favorite dish after Tom Yum! Pad Thai is a delicious dish that is cooked in a large frying pan where rice noodles are fried with nuts, shrimp, bean sprouts, green onions, garlic, tofu, lime juice and fish sauce. All this is filled with egg and fried again. Sugar, dried chili pepper and a little vinegar are added as a separate seasoning, but this is optional.
Fried rice (fried rice)
This is one of the main traditional dishes of Thailand, which is enjoyed not only by locals, but also by tourists. As you already understand from the name, the main ingredient of this dish is rice. Rice is fried in a huge frying pan with high edges, onions, carrots, eggs, bacon, chicken, shrimp are added (depending on what you want). If you order fried rice with chicken, only chicken and some vegetables will be added. You can order without meat at all, but only with vegetables or eggs. Insanely delicious, but they cook it differently everywhere. We ate very tasty fried rice and not so much.
Gang Som Pak Ruam
This is another unusual Thai soup with a very specific taste, where sweet, sour and spicy flavors merge in one bowl. Soup base vegetable stew– carrots, beans and cabbage in meat broth with chili pepper. This soup can be served with omelette and Thai acacia leaves, in which case its name will change slightly to Gung Som Cha Om Kai.
Gang Keow Wan
Very popular a traditional dish In Thailand, it is loved by the local population - green curry. From experience I can say that it is impossible to eat it, even my husband, who has been eating it since childhood hot peppers bit into it, he said it was incredibly spicy! This dish is not just a fire in your mouth, but a conflagration! Ingredients - green pasta curry, coconut milk, bamboo shoots, chicken, basil, Thai eggplant, galangal, lime. The dish is quite thick and served with rice. Probably, when ordering it, you should also ask for no spicy. We apparently lost sight of this.
Panang Gai.
Also one of the most popular dishes, spicy! The chicken is fried in red curry paste, coated with coconut cream and topped with lemongrass leaves.
Kung Massaman
Massaman is a sweet curry that came from southern Thailand, and everything is the same - coconut milk, curry paste, peanuts, nutmeg and cinnamon. Traditionally served with potatoes as a side dish.
Gai Pad Pongali
This dish is also prepared in a large frying pan, chicken, onions, tomatoes and peppers are fried together in yellow curry paste, then the main ingredient is added - an egg, everything is sprinkled with parsley. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of scrambled eggs and bacon, only a little better!
Kung Jut (Gang Jued)
This is such a light Thai soup that is nice to eat during the day when it is very hot. The soup is prepared in vegetable broth from cabbage, carrots and onions, with pork, tofu and glass noodles added. Sprinkled with parsley, very similar to our native cabbage soup, but the noodles are a significant difference.
Jim Jum
Very original dish Thai cuisine, but a little heavy, since fatty meats are used here. Prepare as follows: small clay pot stands on coals, inside there is a fatty broth, various herbs, pork, beaten eggs, basil and glass noodles are placed there. Vegetables in a pot are slowly stewed, the soup turns out rich and satisfying.
Kao Na Phet
Khao Na Phet is a Thai dish made from duck, so beloved in Asian countries. Served, of course, with rice. Pieces of cooked duck are placed on the rice and topped with duck broth and acacia leaves. Often sold on street food carts, be sure to try it!
Kai Jiew Moo Saap
In principle, you can cook Kai Ji Mu Sap yourself, since the base is a simple omelette. Beat the eggs with soy and fish sauce and add minced pork. Well, and to top it all with rice! Served with chili and fresh herbs. A simple and tasty dish.

Pieces of boiled chicken are placed on a plate with rice and poured chicken broth, - that's it, Ko Man Gai is ready! Spices, naturally, chili or chili with garlic.
